Adaptive Images is an add-on for Optimizely.

It is available on the Optimizely App Marketplace as a verified add-on, meaning it complies with Optimizely security, documentation, user interface, and integration standards.

The backstory

What originally started as a bespoke development project for a major retailer in 2018 eventually evolved into its own product that first launched in 2019 for what was then known as Episerver CMS.

In 2021, a major update was released for the launch of Optimizely CMS 12, and with that support for .NET Core - in and of itself a major step.

After more than 1500 hours of development and testing, the add-on has become a key component for many websites to offer web editors simplified workflows while ensuring design consistency and improved performance.
